Oil Pricing
Is it just me or have we become numb to what is going on with oil pricing. A friend of mine who works in the oil business is very frustrated as he feels like people are throwing up their hands and just don't care any more. Yet the pricing he feels is being driven up by Oil futures traders, in other words people in our own country are responsible for killing us with these prices. Really bums me out- and I don't know what to do- other then ride my bike everywhere I can and really pay attention to energy use.
Argh.

Futures trading is part of the equation, the bigger factor is the currency. The us dollar is tanking and it is affecting all commodities. I recall when the euro was created many people doubted its viability as a world currency, who's laughing now?
I thought you got free oil at the Academy as well housing? To honestly comment on this subject it has to affect you. Try deciding between oil, food, medicine. Which bill to pay this month and which not to pay. You probably mean well but this is a non issue for you is it not?
